  • 1 bag Frozen French fries Or homemade if you prefer

For the chicken topping

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce Quality sauce to match your preferred spice level

For topping

  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded You can use other types of cheese too
  • 1/4 cup Blue cheese or ranch dressing For drizzling before serving
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions, chopped Sprinkle just before serving
  • Optional Celery sticks Optional for serving

For cooking

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For baking the fries

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the pack of frozen French fries.

Baking the fries

  • Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crisp per package directions.

Combining the chicken

  • While the fries bake, combine the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce in a bowl until well-coated.

Assembling the dish

  • Once the fries are done and crispy, remove them from the oven.
  • Transfer the fries to a serving dish or leave them on the baking sheet.
  • Top the fries with the buffalo chicken mixture, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Finishing touches

  • Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle with blue cheese or ranch dressing and sprinkle with green onions before serving.
