Preparation

  • Rinse the peanuts under cold water to eliminate any dirt or impurities.

  • Add enough water to cover the peanuts completely.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low.
  • Let the peanuts simmer for 8 to 12 hours, checking for doneness after 8 hours.
  • Once done, drain off any excess water and serve warm or cold.
