  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 ripe banana, frozen For a creamy texture
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any preferred milk)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey) Adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional) For added texture and nutrition
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans (optional) For garnish and added crunch
  • as needed cubes Ice Optional, based on your preference for thickness

Preparation

  • Start by prepping your ingredients: peel and chop the carrot, and make sure your banana is frozen.

Blend

  • Add the chopped carrot, frozen banana, almond milk, cinnamon, ginger, and maple syrup into a blender.
  • If desired, add the oats and chia seeds for additional texture and nutrients.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add ice cubes if you want a thicker consistency and blend again.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup if needed.

Serve

  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and top with chopped nuts if you like.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes
