Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.25 cup Vegetable Oil or Melted Butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Herbs like oregano or thyme, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder (if using), and dried herbs. Whisk together.
  • Fold in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and the egg until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Grease a loaf pan and pour the batter into it, smoothing the top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. It can also be frozen for longer storage.
