Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Orzo Pasta
  • 1 pound Chicken Breast Juicy and tender
  • 2 cups Broccoli Fresh, cut into florets
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Cream For creaminess
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional) For added heat

Instructions

Cooking the Orzo

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add orzo pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Chicken

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Cooking the Broccoli

  • In the same skillet, add more oil if necessary, and sauté broccoli for about 4-5 minutes until tender but still bright green.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add chopped chicken and cooked orzo back into the skillet with broccoli. Stir to combine.

Adding Cream and Cheese

  • Pour in cream and gradually stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

Seasoning and Serving

  • Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes. Serve warm in bowls, garnished with extra cheese or fresh herbs.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs or spices. If storing leftovers, keep in an airtight container and reheat gently, adding a splash of cream to restore creaminess.
