Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cut the loaf of French bread lengthwise and place cut sides up on a baking sheet.
In a small bowl, combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on each side of the bread.
Sprinkle the shredded Colby Jack and mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered bread.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
For a crispy top, broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
