Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup salted butter softened
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Colby Jack cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the loaf of French bread lengthwise and place cut sides up on a baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on each side of the bread.
  • Sprinkle the shredded Colby Jack and mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered bread.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • For a crispy top, broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
