Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded You can use leftover or freshly cooked chicken.
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese You can mix in other types of cheese if desired.
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Optional for added flavor.

For the wraps

  • 4 large tortillas Whole wheat or flavored tortillas can be used.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter for toasting Use whichever you prefer.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, black pepper, and parsley. Stir until the mixture is well combined.

Assembly

  • Lay a tortilla flat on your workspace and spoon a generous portion of the filling into the center, spreading it slightly.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it tightly from the bottom to form a secure wrap.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter. Once heated, place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and toast the other side for an additional 2 minutes.

Serving

  • Remove wraps from the skillet, let cool for a moment, then slice in half. Serve warm, optionally paired with a salad or dipping sauce.

Notes

You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 days or freeze them for up to 3 months. To reheat, use a skillet over medium heat to regain crispness.
