  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Measure properly to avoid altering the texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional) For an extra treat.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, Biscoff spread, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients to avoid overmixing.
  • If using, gently stir in chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the top turns golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
