  • 1 cup homemade white BBQ sauce You can also use store-bought BBQ sauce.
  • 4 pieces sub sandwich rolls Slice them lengthwise for easy stuffing.
  • to taste lettuce and tomato for topping Optional but recommended for freshness.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken with homemade white BBQ sauce, stirring until well-coated.
  • Slice sub sandwich rolls lengthwise, ensuring they remain connected at the bottom.
  • Stuff each roll generously with the BBQ chicken mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

Baking

  • Place the stuffed sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Add fresh lettuce and tomato slices just before serving, if desired.

Notes

For added crunch, toast the insides of the rolls before stuffing. Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container and consumed within 3 days.
