Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Kofta

  • 1 lb ground chicken Lean meat that adds moisture and flavor
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped Adds sweetness and texture

  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking For frying

For the Creamy Garlic Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Base of the sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Adds freshness
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For creaminess
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped Adds flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation of Kofta

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cilantro, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • Add beaten egg and breadcrumbs to the mixture. Mix until uniform.
  • Shape the mixture into oval patties or logs.

Cooking Kofta

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook kofta for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until golden-brown and cooked through.

Preparing Sauce

  • In a separate bowl, mix Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, dill, and seasoning until well blended.

Serving

  • Serve kofta warm, drizzled with creamy garlic yogurt sauce, accompanied by pita bread, salads, or rice.
