Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Sauce and Assembly

  • 1 cup marinara sauce Heated before serving
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese Base for the bowl
  • Fresh basil or parsley For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.

Cooking

  • Arrange the breaded chicken on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the chicken is baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat for 5-10 minutes.

Assembly

  • Distribute the low-fat cottage cheese evenly among serving bowls.
  • Spoon the warm marinara sauce over the cottage cheese.
  • Top each bowl with a piece of baked chicken.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.

Notes
