  • 1 cup chicken broth For making the sauce.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme Herb for flavoring.

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping any browned bits from the bottom.
  • Stir in the Boursin cheese and dried thyme, mixing until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for about 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a creamier sauce, let it simmer longer after adding Boursin cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
