Ingredients
  

For the noodles

  • 200 grams noodles Use your preferred type of noodles.

For the sauce

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For sautéing garlic and ginger.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced Freshly minced for aromatic qualities.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Use high-quality soy sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar Adds acidity to the dish.
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste Adjust quantity for desired heat.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Balances the heat from the chili.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil For added flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Can be reduced for less spice.
  • 1/4 cup water To adjust sauce consistency.

For garnish

  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped Adds a fresh crunch.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds For garnish and additional crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.
  • Add the noodles to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions, typically 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Drain the noodles and set aside.

Make the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  • Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add water to the skillet and stir to combine.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing them gently in the sauce until well-coated.
  • Transfer the noodles to a serving plate and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
