Preparation

  • Prepare your ingredients: Ensure you have the chicken stock ready, the napa cabbage sliced, and the ginger cut into slices.

Cooking

  • Pour the chicken stock into a large pot over high heat and bring it to a boil.
  • Once the stock is boiling, carefully stir in the sliced napa cabbage and the fresh ginger.
  • Give the mixture a gentle stir and let it return to a boiling point.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the pot, and let the soup simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
  • After simmering, taste the soup and adjust seasoning with salt or other preferred spices.
  • Ladle the hot soup into bowls and serve immediately.
