Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 ounces)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 container chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk (for vanilla glaze)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) or the recommended temperature for your mini donut maker.
  • Grease your donut pans with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, egg, melted butter, and milk. Mix until smooth and lump-free.
  • Transfer the batter to a piping bag or resealable plastic bag. Snip off one corner and pipe the batter into the prepared donut pans, filling them about two-thirds full.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
  • Flip the pan onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Heat the chocolate frosting in the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute until slightly runny. Drizzle over the cooled donuts.
  • Add sprinkles on top of the frosting for decoration.
