Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature Ensure it's softened for better mixing.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar For additional moisture and flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.

Combining

  • Gradually beat in the flour mixture until fully incorporated.
  • Add in chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.

Baking

  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
