  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk of your choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons sweetener (like honey or maple syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Pour the milk mixture into the bowl with the oats and stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  • Divide the mixture into two or more jars or containers with lids.
  • Seal the jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let the oats absorb the liquid and flavors.

Serving

  • When ready to serve, give the oats a good stir and add your favorite toppings.
