  • A pinch salt

Liquid Mixture

  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy) You can substitute with almond, coconut, or other milk.
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.

Optional Toppings

  • 1 banana sliced banana Adds creaminess.
  • 0.5 cup chopped nuts For added crunch.
  • 0.25 cup shredded coconut Adds tropical flavor.
  • 0.25 cup chocolate chips For chocolate lovers.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Pour the milk mixture over the oat mixture and stir well to ensure everything is evenly combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into jars or containers with lids, cover, and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.

Serving

  • In the morning, stir the oats to recombine and add additional milk if needed for your desired consistency.
  • Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy straight from the jar or in a bowl.

Notes
