  • 2 cups milk of your choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter Choose a natural peanut butter for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey Adjust sweetness to preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt

  • sliced bananas Adds freshness.
  • chocolate chips Provides extra sweetness.
  • chopped nuts or seeds Offers added crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir well to combine.
  • Divide the mixture into jars or containers and secure the lids. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.

Serving

  • In the morning, stir the oats and adjust consistency with more milk if needed.
  • Add desired toppings before serving.
