Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk well.
  • In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla extract and egg, mixing until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing gently until combined.
  • Shape the dough into cookie portions and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Decorating

  • Melt chocolate chips and dip half of each cookie, then top with sprinkles.
