Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 10-12 cups popped popcorn or ⅓ cup kernels, popped
  • 1 10-12 oz bag white candy melts or white chocolate (melted)
  • 2 cups mini pretzels optionally broken into pieces
  • 10 oz Red and Green Christmas M&Ms regular, peanut, etc.
  • 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your kitchen to warmth and cheer! Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.

Pop the Popcorn

  • If using kernels, pop about ⅓ cup of them until you have approximately 10-12 cups of fluffy popcorn. Transfer to a very large mixing bowl.

Melt the Chocolate

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white candy melts or white chocolate in 30-second bursts, stirring in between until fully melted and smooth.

Combine Ingredients

  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the popped popcorn and add half of the pretzels and half of the Christmas M&Ms. Fold gently to coat the popcorn with the chocolate.

Spread the Mixture

  • Spread the chocolate-covered popcorn mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet quickly.

Sprinkle Festively

  • Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle the remaining pretzels, M&Ms, and Christmas sprinkles over the popcorn. Gently press down to make sure they stick.

Let it Harden

  • Allow the Christmas Crunch to cool at room temperature until the chocolate hardens, which usually takes about 30 minutes.

Break and Enjoy

  • Once set, break the popcorn into pieces and serve immediately or store for later.
