Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 box Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
  • 8 ounces white chocolate or candy melts for coating
  • 3 tablespoons festive sprinkles
  • 3 tablespoons red candy melts (optional, for drizzling)
  • to taste as needed green sanding sugar for decoration

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by unwrapping the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and placing them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Using a handheld mixer, mix the cakes on low speed until you achieve a crumbly dough.
  • Fold in the festive sprinkles gently into the crumbly mixture.

Forming Truffles

  • Scoop out portions of the dough with a tablespoon and roll them into balls, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill the formed cake balls in the refrigerator.

Coating

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate or candy melts in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Place the coated truffles back on the baking sheet.

Decoration

  • Melt red candy melts in a piping bag and drizzle over the dipped truffles.
  • Sprinkle green sanding sugar on top for decoration.

Chill and Serve

  • Allow the decorated truffles to chill in the fridge for a few minutes before serving.
