Christmas Tree Sheet Cake Pops
Delightful and festive cake pops shaped like Christmas trees, coated in green candy melts and decorated with colorful sprinkles, perfect for any holiday gathering.
Ingredients
Cake Ingredients
- 1 box box of cake mix (your favorite flavor)
- as directed Eggs, water, and oil as directed on the cake mix box
Mixing Ingredients
- 1 cup frosting (matching or complementary flavor)
Coating and Decoration Ingredients
- 1 bag green candy melts
- 24 sticks lollipop sticks one for each cake pop
- as needed sprinkles for decoration
- 1 block Styrofoam block to display the cake pops
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven and prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake as directed, then allow it to cool completely.
Shaping
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large mixing bowl until it is in fine pieces.
- Mix in the frosting until you achieve a moldable, dough-like consistency.
- Roll the mixture into cone shapes resembling Christmas trees.
Assembly
- Dip lollipop sticks into frosting and insert them into the base of each cake pop.
- Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring to prevent scorching.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, allowing excess to drip off.
- Decorate with colorful sprinkles before the candy hardens.
- Insert the completed cake pops into the Styrofoam block to set.
