Instructions
Gather all your ingredients. Ensure the bananas are frozen for creaminess.
Add the frozen bananas, cashew or coconut milk, almond butter, protein powder, and ice cubes into a blender.
Blend on high until smooth, about 30 to 60 seconds.
If the smoothie is too thick, add more milk to adjust consistency and blend again.
Either blend in the chocolate syrup or cocoa powder, or pour it into the finished smoothie for a layered look.
Pour the smoothie into glasses and top with chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
