Ingredients
  

Flour

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sourdough starter active and bubbly
  • 1 cup raisins soaked in water for 15 minutes
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup water lukewarm
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine water, sourdough starter, and sugar. Stir and let it sit for 10 minutes to activate the starter.
  • Mix the flour, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and knead for 8-10 minutes until the dough becomes soft and elastic.
  • Cover the dough and let it rise for 3 hours until it doubles in size.
  • Fold in the raisins, shaping the dough into a round loaf.
  • Place the dough in a preheated Dutch oven, cover, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40 minutes, until golden brown.
