  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract alcohol-free
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Glaze Ingredients

  • ½ cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 2 tablespoons milk for glaze

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.

Mixing

  • In a separate large bowl, mix together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until well combined.
  • Gradually stir in the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, being careful not to over-mix.
  • Fold in the cinnamon.

Baking

  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading into an even layer.
  • Dollop the remaining batter on top and use a knife to create swirls.
  • Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bars to cool in the pan.

Glazing and Serving

  • Prepare the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars, slice into squares and enjoy.

Notes

For added texture, consider incorporating nuts into the batter. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days.
