Ingredients
  

For the Cloud Bread Base

  • 3 large large eggs, separated Use clean, dry bowls for best results.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar Helps stabilize the egg whites.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional) Can be omitted or replaced with other herbs.

For Topping

  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Your choice of toppings (vegetables, meats, etc.) Customize as desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, combine the egg yolks, softened cream cheese, salt, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture, being careful not to deflate the batter.
  • Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming two or three round crusts, depending on desired size.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and spread a layer of marinara sauce on each crust.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top and add your choice of toppings.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes
