  • 1 cup cottage cheese Choose high-quality cottage cheese for a smooth consistency.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice) Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavor.
  • 1/2 cup flour (all-purpose or almond) Use all-purpose flour or a gluten-free alternative.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs (e.g., oregano, thyme) Adjust according to taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or spraying it with cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese and shredded cheese. Mix them well until they form a creamy mixture.
  • Add the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and dried herbs to the cheese mixture. Stir everything together until you achieve a smooth dough.
  • Scoop small portions of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each scoop gently with a spatula to form thin rounds. Leave space between each chip since they will spread slightly during baking.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15–20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and the chips become crisp.

Cooling

  • Once baked, remove the chips from the oven. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
