  • 1/2 cup whole milk cottage cheese Provides creaminess.

  • Fresh parmesan, for serving Adds flavor.

Instructions
 

Cooking Pasta

  • Begin by cooking your chosen pasta according to the package instructions.
  • Drain the pasta once it’s al dente and set it aside for later.

Sautéing Vegetables

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5-6 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
  • Season the onion lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Add minced garlic and continue to sauté for another 1-2 minutes.

Cooking Turkey

  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  • Stir occasionally until the meat is browned and cooked through, approximately 6-8 minutes.

Making the Sauce

  • Blend the marinara sauce and cottage cheese in a blender until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the creamy marinara sauce over the cooked turkey.

Combining with Pasta

  • Gently mix the turkey and sauce with the cooked pasta, ensuring all noodles are well coated.

Serving

  • Serve in bowls or on plates, garnishing with fresh parmesan and torn basil.
  • Enjoy with a side salad or steamed vegetables.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container. Reheat in a skillet, adding a splash of water or broth if needed.
