  • 1 teaspoon baking powder For leavening the crust.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, almond flour, egg, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a cohesive dough forms.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread the dough onto the baking sheet, creating a consistent layer with thicker edges.

Baking

  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Once baked, add your desired toppings, including tomato sauce, cheese, and vegetables.
  • Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, until toppings are cooked through and cheese is melted.

Serving

  • Allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing into wedges.
  • Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs and a side salad.
