Ingredients
Chicken and Coating
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for coating)
Butter Mixture
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Allow to soften at room temperature.
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Fresh herbs enhance flavor.
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
Instructions
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix the chicken pieces with the all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
Frying
- Add the chicken pieces to the pan in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd them.
- Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked chicken bites to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Butter Mixture
- In a separate bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, onion powder, and dried oregano until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and chives.
Coating and Serving
- Once the chicken bites cool for a minute, toss them in the buttery herb mixture to coat.
