Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings

Cowboy Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce Adjust for heat preference
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if you are baking the wings. If using an air fryer, preheat according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, combine the wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix well to coat the wings evenly.

Cooking

  • If baking, arrange the wings on a greased baking sheet in a single layer, allowing space between each wing.
  • Bake for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden and crispy.
  • While the wings are cooking, prepare the cowboy butter sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, dried thyme, and mix well.
  • Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the cowboy butter sauce until fully coated.

Serving

  • Transfer the wings to a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
