Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, cinnamon stick, and optional orange zest and jalapeño.
Heat over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
Cook until cranberries pop and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes.
Soften the cream cheese in the microwave for about 10 seconds or at room temperature for 30 minutes.
In a serving dish, place the softened cream cheese and spoon the cranberry sauce over it.
Sprinkle with chopped pecans and green onion tops before serving.
Serve warm or at room temperature, or refrigerate for later use.
