  • 1 orange, peeled and quartered adds bright flavor
  • 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped can substitute with walnuts or almonds
  • 1 apple, cored and chopped Granny Smith recommended for tartness
  • 1/4 cup honey can adjust for sweetness

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the fresh cranberries and remove any blemished or soft ones.
  • Peel and quarter the orange.
  • Core the apple and chop it.

Mixing

  • In a food processor, combine the cleaned cranberries, quartered oranges, chopped pecans, and apple pieces.
  • Drizzle the honey over the mixture.
  • Pulse the mixture until it is coarsely chopped, being careful not to over-process.

Final Touch

  • Taste the relish and adjust sweetness with more honey or cranberries if needed.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate to allow flavors to meld.
