Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Should also be at room temperature.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Add-Ins

  • 1 cup chocolate chips Feel free to mix different types of chocolate.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, and beat until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes
