Lasagna Components

  • 12 sheets Lasagna Noodles Cook according to package instructions.
  • 15 oz Ricotta Cheese Provides creaminess.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded For topping and layering.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated Adds flavor and richness.
  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or frozen, enhances the dish.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced For sautéing with shrimp.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter To sauté garlic and shrimp.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Black Pepper For seasoning.
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley, chopped For added freshness and garnish.
  • 1 lemon Lemon Juice For brightness and flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

Cooking Shrimp

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until shrimp turns pink, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat.

Cheese Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.

Layering and Baking

  • In a large baking dish, layer the ingredients starting with lasagna noodles, then shrimp mixture, and cheese filling. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles topped with remaining mozzarella.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Serving

  • Let lasagna cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and a drizzle of lemon juice before serving.

Notes
