Ingredients
  

Pasta and Chicken

  • 8 oz whole wheat pasta Use any shape you prefer.
  • 2 cups cooked and shredded lean chicken breast You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Can substitute with sour cream.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Preferably freshly grated.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing garlic.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference.
  • Parsley for garnish (optional) Provides a fresh pop of color.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole wheat pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Stir in the cooked and shredded chicken and heat through for 3-4 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to low and add Greek yogurt and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the mixture is creamy and well-blended.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss gently until every piece is coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Plate the pasta and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of chicken broth if needed.
