  • 2 cups Refrigerated Cheese Tortellini Substitute with other tortellini flavors if desired.
  • 1 cup Sour Cream For creaminess; can use Greek yogurt for lighter version.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Prevents beef from sticking to the skillet.
  • Salt to taste Adjust according to preference.
  • Black Pepper to taste Freshly ground preferred.
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Parsley (optional) For garnish and added color.

Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Add ground beef, breaking it into smaller pieces, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
  • Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Mix in Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
  • Pour in beef broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  • Add the cheese tortellini and ensure it's submerged in the broth. Cover and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Lower the heat and stir in the sour cream. Adjust the sauce's thickness with more beef broth if desired.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.

Notes
