  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean beef to reduce excess fat.
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained (15 ounces)
  • 1 cup corn (frozen or canned)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Adjust spice level to taste.
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup cream (heavy or sour) Adds richness and luxurious texture.

  • Heat a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and diced onion to the pot and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beef is browned.
  • Drain any excess fat from the pot.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, black beans, and corn.
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  • Pour in the beef broth, bring to a gentle simmer, and allow to cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat and stir in the cream, continuing to cook until heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
