Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce for serving
  • 1 cup assorted pizza toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, olives, etc.) customizable
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • as needed spray olive oil for spraying the air fryer basket
  • as needed as needed flour for dusting the work surface

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • On a clean surface, lightly dust flour to prevent the dough from sticking. Roll out the pizza dough into a thin layer.
  • Cut the dough into squares, about 3x3 inches in size.
  • In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, assorted pizza toppings, and Italian seasoning.
  • Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dough square and fold the edges over the filling to create a pocket.
  • Pinch the seams to seal tightly.

Cooking

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  • Arrange the rolls in a single layer in the fryer basket.
  • Spray the tops of the rolls lightly with olive oil.
  • Cook the pizza rolls in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove the rolls from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes.

Serving

  • Serve hot with tomato sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

To ensure crispy results, roll the dough thin and pinch edges well. Experiment with different fillings and dipping sauces.
