Preparation

  • Start by preparing your workspace and gathering all the ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped chicken breast, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until evenly blended.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the egg. Add it to the chicken mixture and stir well to combine.
  • Gradually add the flour to the chicken mixture while mixing, ensuring all ingredients are thoroughly combined to create a cohesive batter.
  • Once the batter forms, fold in the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil, enough to cover the bottom generously.
  • Scoop spoonfuls of the chicken mixture and drop them into the hot oil, ensuring you don’t overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Fry each fritter for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Adjust the heat to prevent burning.
  • Once cooked, remove the fritters from the skillet and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
