Ingredients
  

Seasoning Mix

  • 1 teaspoon smoked Spanish paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper flakes (or 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes) Adjust heat to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sumac
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Salmon Bites

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed Fresh, high-quality salmon enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil For frying.
  • 1 to 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 lime lime wedges, for serving

Harissa-Yogurt Sauce

  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 lime juiced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, blend together the seasoning mix: smoked Spanish paprika, garlic powder, Aleppo pepper (or red pepper flakes), ground cumin, and sumac. Add kosher salt and black pepper to taste and mix well.
  • Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel, then cut it into 1-inch pieces and season with the prepared spice mix.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, harissa paste, honey, and lime juice to create the harissa-yogurt sauce. Whisk until smooth and set aside.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Carefully add the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer, pressing down gently with a spatula.
  • Cook undisturbed for 4 to 5 minutes until golden crust forms, then flip and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until they flake easily.

Serving

  • Transfer the cooked salmon bites to a serving plate and drizzle with the harissa-yogurt sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with lime wedges.

Notes
