Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Pat the sausages dry with paper towels to help crisp up the skin.
  • Optionally, slice the sausages lengthwise for extra crispiness and quicker cooking.
  • Lightly coat the sausages with olive oil or cooking spray for added crispiness, and add any spices.

Cooking

  • Place the sausages in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  • Cook the sausages for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
  • Check frequently after the 8-minute mark for desired crispiness.
  • Ensure they reach a deep golden brown and an internal temperature of at least 160°F (71°C), then remove from the air fryer.

Serving

  • Let the sausages rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
