Main Ingredients

  • 6 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Choose fresh for best results.
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted.
  • 1 package (0.7 oz) dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta Cook according to package directions.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper For seasoning the chicken.

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  • Once melted, add softened cream cheese and stir well.
  • Add condensed cream of chicken soup, dry Italian salad dressing mix, and chicken broth, whisking until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crock pot.

Cooking

  • Cover the crock pot and cook on low for about 4 hours.
  • About 15 minutes before serving, cook angel hair pasta according to package directions.
  • Drain the pasta once cooked.

Serving

  • Plate a portion of angel hair pasta on each plate.
  • Top with a chicken breast and spoon over the creamy sauce.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
  • Serve hot with a side of steamed vegetables or a light salad.

Notes
