  • 1 package ranch dressing mix Check for gluten-free options if necessary.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Can use low-fat or dairy-free alternative.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Substitutions can include cheddar or pepper jack.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on personal preference.
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your Crock Pot.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.
  • Fold in the softened cream cheese, blending until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken in the Crock Pot, ensuring it’s evenly covered.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the chicken. Cover and allow the cheese to melt.
  • Once done, shred the chicken with two forks right in the pot, mixing it with the creamy sauce.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
