Instructions
Pour 5 cups of whole milk and 16 oz of heavy whipping cream into the crock pot.
Add ¼ cup of cocoa powder and ¼ cup of granulated sugar, stirring well to prevent clumps.
Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of kosher salt.
Mix in 1 cup of milk chocolate chips until melted and blended.
Cover and cook on low for about 1 hour.
After cooking, whisk the mixture again for a smooth consistency.
Ladle into mugs and serve warm with your choice of toppings.
