Ingredients
  

Pasta and Cheeses

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni Cooked until al dente
  • 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded Use freshly shredded for best results
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Liquid Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the elbow macaroni until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In the crock pot, add the cooked macaroni, sharp cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  • Pour in the milk, followed by the cubed butter and cream cheese.
  • Sprinkle in garlic powder and onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir all the ingredients together until the macaroni is well-coated with the mixture.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for about 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Once cooking time is up, stir again and serve warm.

Notes

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or paprika before serving. This dish can be paired with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
