Ingredients
  

Meat Mixture

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  • Shape the mixture into evenly sized patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer the browned patties to the Crock Pot.

Cooking

  • Spread the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms over the patties in the Crock Pot.
  • Pour the beef broth over the top, ensuring it covers the patties well.
  • Cover the Crock Pot and set it to cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Serving

  • Serve the Crock Pot Salisbury Steak hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles, drizzling with the delicious gravy.
