Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use large, fresh shrimp for better flavor.
  • 2 cups corn on the cob, cut into pieces Fresh corn is preferable.
  • 1 lb small potatoes, halved You can use baby potatoes for convenience.
  • 1 link sausage, sliced Customize the sausage to your taste.
  • 4 cups water For the base broth.
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning Essential seasoning for traditional flavor.
  • 1 whole lemon, halved For juice and garnish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Enhances visual appeal.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pour four cups of water into the Crock Pot and add the Old Bay seasoning.
  • Add the halved potatoes and sliced sausage into the pot.
  • Set the Crock Pot to cook on high for about three hours.

Cooking

  • After three hours, add in the corn and shrimp, gently stirring to combine all ingredients.
  • Cook for an additional 30 minutes to an hour until shrimp are cooked through and corn is tender.

Serving

  • Squeeze the juice from the halved lemon over the dish before serving.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh parsley.
