Italian sausage (mild or spicy)

19 oz frozen cheese tortellini

fresh spinach, chopped

28 oz diced tomatoes (undrained)

8 oz cream cheese, cubed

chicken broth

minced garlic

tsp
Italian seasoning
to taste

Instructions
In a skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and transfer to the crockpot.
Add diced tomatoes (with juice), minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to the crockpot. Stir to combine.
Pour in the chicken broth and place the cubed cream cheese on top without stirring.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
In the last 30 minutes, add the frozen tortellini and chopped spinach to the crockpot, stirring gently.
Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve warm.
